A Military Moment

Hi,
One of the Spring trends that can be translated easily and worn now is the military look. The parka or combat jacket and khaki combat trousers are the perfect outfit. This outfit from Warehouse is from their Utility label and will be available from the end of February. Prices start from £18.
Will you go for the military look or feminine and pretty?

Spring in your step

Hi,
Today I feel like Spring is finally on its way. I am sitting at my computer, the sun is shining and i can hear the birds singing. With the thought of better weather on its way ( yes, I know I'm being optimistic as its only February) you may like to see what you will be wearing on your feet this coming season.
Wooden soled shoes are big news with clogs this season's new shoe trend. This fab style from Office are £60.
Love then or hate them?

The future looks pretty

Hi,
A belated Happy New Year.
Just as we are thawing out, I thought it would be a nice idea to get a little glimpse of what lies ahead, not mystic Meg style, but what you will be wearing in the new season.
Spring/ Summer looks set to be a time to look pretty. Florals and pastels make a comeback, which is refreshing, after a season of black and thermals!
This daisy chain ruched dress from French Connection £75 is just a little taster of what you can expect.
Keep an eye out for www.thefashionfix.co.uk to get a full update of the trends.
Will you be glad to get out of black? I can't wait.

Christmas panic

Hi,
With only 8 days to go and Christmas pressies and lunch to think about, you may be in a bit of a panic ( I know I am). I thought I would show you this great outfit for Christmas day lunch, although probably best to get changed into it after you have made the lunch. The outfit is from Wallis and the leggings can easily be dressed up or down. As I am typing this, it is snowing heavily and my kids are overexcited about the prospect of school being closed a day before they are due to break up. With kids off, pressies to wrap, turkey to buy and lunch to plan, I may not get to blog again until the New Year. So, here are my top 10 tips for Party dressing
1. LBD- little black dress
2. Embellished bag, necklace, shoe or belt
3. Sequins- on any garment
4. Skyscraper heels
5. Patterned tights
6. Metallic clutch bag
7. A tux
8. Leather skinnies
9. Disco dress, the shinier the better
10. Lots of party invitations
Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year

Only 16 days to go! The parties have began and the question is what to wear? Don't panic, help is at hand! This Christmas a key look is glamour, glitter, sequin and sparkle and this fab dress from Hobbs is a Christmas cracker ( no pun intended). I absolutely love this dress, you can dress it up with stilettos or down with over the knee socks and biker boots. Caberet dress £199 and Haven clutch £99.
Enjoy the party
Will you sparkle this Christmas? Have you got your party outfits together? Are you a dress up or down party goer?

5 weeks and counting

Hi,
You may not have noticed ( if you live in a box), but since the beginning of October every shop is either selling or decorated with all things Christmas and every television advert is pushing another toy for our kids to ask for on their Christmas list, as if it wasn't long enough already! Well the good news is Christmas day is 5 weeks today! Yipee, I hear you say. Before you start to panic about everything you need to get done, I can help you a little with tips on what to wear to the many parties you have been invited to. This party season it is a time to sparkle, shine and dazzle and this dress at £75 and the bracelet at £15 from New Look, ticks all the boxes.
I will keep you posted on what to wear and you can concentrate on the present buying. The countdown begins!
